<p>That&#8217;s <strong><a href="http://theycallmewahmmy.com/flq-cardio-workout-3-1-year-old-workin-out-with-mama/">Arika Lewis&#8217;</a></strong> two beautiful young children. They&#8217;ve been watching her do her quickie home office workouts and they are now active participants.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m proud of Arika and every other work-at-home-mom and dad who is setting a healthy example for their children. If more parents were <span id="more-151"></span>setting an example like this, we wouldn&#8217;t be faced with an obesity epidemic.</p>
<p>Think of all the reasons why you started your home business. Freedom and more time with your family is probably at the top of your list. But if you are at the computer all day and neglecting your health, that&#8217;s not going to create the freedom that you and your family deserves.</p>
<p>You are a role model for your kids. Your actions influence their behaviors. I know that you want to give your kids every advantage possible. The best advantage that you can give them is a healthy active lifestyle.</p>
<p>Your kids want you around for a long time and they want the healthiest best possible YOU to be in their lives for a very long time. They deserve that. They deserve a parent that will enjoy a great quality of life right up to the end.</p>
<p>It makes my day when we are visiting a friend or family member and my kids reach for an apple instead of the cookies. It makes my day when for no reason at all my kids bust out some burpees or jumping jacks and encourage everyone around them to get involved.</p>
<p>If you have been watching my videos for a while I&#8217;m sure that you have witnessed my kids joining in on the fitness fun dozens of times. Every time that they see Angie and I working out they want to get involved. They see the fun that we are having and it&#8217;s just so much a part of our routine that they believe that&#8217;s the normal thing to do (workout frequently).</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not just our toddlers that are being influenced. I&#8217;ve been hearing from many of the <strong><a href="http://www.fatlossquickie.com/home-workout.php">Fat Loss Quickie</a></strong> members who have their teens joining them in their workouts. These teens will be entering the work force in just a few years. The example that you are showing them is that quick home office workouts are a great way to boost your productivity, help you gain focus, improve your quality of work and time management, and boost your energy and health.</p>
<p>As a role model you are demonstrating that spending long hours at your desk is not necessarily the best way to get more done. You are demonstrating that breaking your day into chunks and filling a couple of those 10 minute time slots with physical activity will actually help you get more done in less time so you can enjoy life to the fullest and spend more quality time with your family.</p>
<p>Your task for the day&#8230; Show off your new healthy lifestyle to your family. Encourage them to participate. Let them know why home office fitness is so important to you.</p>

<h3>Making Time For Exercise For Homepreneurs</h3>
<p>Making time for exercise when you work at home can seem like a real challenge, but the biggest challenge starts in your mind.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s so easy to bump yourself to the back of the list and next thing you know, whoops!, the day is gone.</p>
<p>WHAT TO DO?</p>
<p>That part is easy.</p>
<p>Make it what I like to call a <strong>non negotiable</strong>.</p>
<p>A non negotiable is <span id="more-139"></span>just what it sounds like, something solid, that leaves <strong>no wiggle room for negotiation</strong>.</p>
<p>You won&#8217;t be telling yourself I&#8217;ll do it tomorrow&#8230; today doesn&#8217;t count&#8230; I can skip this time (and the next time and the next) or anything like that.</p>
<p>Because it simply will not be an option for you anymore.</p>
<p>It won&#8217;t even be on your radar.</p>
<p>HOW TO GET THERE?</p>
<p>In the end, it is always a matter of simply deciding to make putting aside the time you need for exercising a non negotiable, but you may need to have a look at WHY you want to exercise every day to get there.</p>
<p>Here are a few thoughts to get you started. Dig deeper to find some more, or to find your &#8216;one thing&#8217; that will keep you going should you be tempted to &#8216;open negotiations&#8217;.</p>
<p>If&#8230;</p>
<li>You are disappointed every time you look in the mirror, knowing that if you just got on track with your exercises that you would look great.</li>
<li>You are uncomfortable in your clothes but refuse to go a size bigger &#8211; there&#8217;s a non negotiable, right there.</li>
<li>You feel unhealthy, winded after a short excursion. You want freedom to breathe again, to feel good &#8211; and then to feel great!</li>
<li>You&#8217;ve lost your glow and you want it back.</li>
<li>You want to live a long, full life in health, not in sickness.</li>
<li>You want to feel strong and alive, rather than weak and decaying with every year.</li>
<li>You realize that you need to make yourself and your health a priority in your life. You realize that it&#8217;s up to you, and no one else. You&#8217;re in charge.</li>
<p>WHAT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO</p>
<p>It all comes down to two words.</p>
<p>Non-negotiable.</p>
<p>If you can remember those words, any time you are tempted to let something else elbow out your exercise time you will remember that it&#8217;s not an option, because you&#8217;ve made an agreement with yourself. Period.</p>
<p>You will find yourself saying &#8220;<em>Let&#8217;s get to it now</em>&#8220;, instead of &#8220;<em>No, I can do it another time</em>&#8220;&#8230; a time which never comes.</p>
<p>Next thing you know, you will find that you are making time to exercise during your work at home day.</p>
<p>Day after day.</p>

<p>Frank is one of the most down to Earth guys that I know and has an incredible grasp on what&#8217;s really important in life. As you&#8217;ll hear in the video above, what matters most to Frank is <span id="more-136"></span>FREEDOM! Not just financial freedom, but the freedom to do what he wants in life. If you don&#8217;t have your health you&#8217;ll never truly be free.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll never forget the first presentation that I watched Frank give at an Internet Marketing conference. His story of perseverance inspired me and he&#8217;s been a role model of mine ever since.</p>
<p>A really key point to take from this video is, &#8220;What motivates others may not motivate you&#8221;. Don&#8217;t try to keep up with the Jones&#8217;. Just become the best YOU that you can be and follow your passions and go after the goals that have greater meaning to you and fall in line with your life&#8217;s purpose.</p>
<p>Frank and Scott get into a great discussion a the beginning of the video about purchasing an information product, whether it be a diet book or business building book, and not following through with the information before moving onto the next program or book. Can you relate to that?</p>

<p>I have previously shared some of the benefits of quick home office workouts such as<span id="more-132"></span> helping you get more done in less time because of increased productivity, energy, and focus. <p>Now it&#8217;s time to share one of the physical benefits. Quick home office workouts will boost your metabolism in a major way. Long after you&#8217;ve done your quick workout your metabolism will still be revved up, burning calories, and melting fat. Your metabolism will stay cranked while you are working at your desk and you&#8217;ll be burning more calories even while you sleep.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s move onto the benefits of long duration cardio. I encourage the Fat Loss Quickie members to incorporate some form of long duration cardio into their work week and I recommend that it&#8217;s something that they enjoy. </p>
<p>For example I absolutely love to ride my bike during the spring, summer, and fall months. It helps me clear my head, get in-tune with my body and my thoughts, and generate new ideas for my business, many of which I implement as soon as I get back from the bike ride and have a quick shower <img src='http://fatlossquickie.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I get a lot of my ideas for my blog posts while I&#8217;m out on a bike ride as well. I bring my Flip camera with me and attach it to my handle bars with a JOBY tripod. I then record any ideas that I get during the bike ride.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s nice to get the variety of long duration cardio in addition to the quickie home office workouts. Combined they pack a powerful punch that help me get more done in less time and strike a balance between fitness, business, and life.</p>
