<p>One of the simplest things that I do to cut down on the amount of time that I prepare meals is to<span id="more-107"></span> always make extra of whatever meal I am preparing so I can have the leftovers either later on that day or for a meal the following day.</p>
<p>When I barbeque chicken I usually cook 6 to 10 chicken breasts at a time. When I steam veggies I&#8217;ll steam enough for several meals. When we make a salad we prepare a huge bowl. I also cut up a lot of fruit and put it in a large Tupperware container so it&#8217;s easy to get at for a couple of days.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s so easy and convenient. I don&#8217;t want to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen so it just makes sense to cook more and save it for future meals.</p>
<p>This isn&#8217;t rocket science and eating healthy should never require an MBA in food engineering. Keep it simple.</p>
<p>Your task is to increase the amount of natural food in your nutrition plan and to prepare extra food at dinner so you can have it for lunch and maybe even dinner the next day.</p>

Unfortunately the choices that you make in these moments are not always the healthiest of choices.</p>
<p>When you want something that&#8217;s convenient, what usually comes to mind is a food that packaged in a wrapper or box. This is the last thing that you should be fueling your body with if you want to be super-focused, energized, and high productive. So what&#8217;s the solution?</p>
<h3>Make Healthy Foods Convenient In Your Home Office</h3>

<p>Convenience stores have glorified junk food as being convenience food. But the truth is <span id="more-91"></span>that it&#8217;s not the most convenient food. The most convenient food are the natural foods that come from the Earth. Foods like apples, blueberries, pears, oranges, walnuts, almonds, grapes, tomatoes, and oats.</p>
<p>The problem is that you have these foods buried somewhere in your fridge and out of site. You need to put these foods on display. Place a bowl of fruit, a container of nuts, and a bottle of water on your desk. Not only will this make the healthy food convenient for you to grab, but I guarantee that you will never allow your self to get to the point where you are &#8217;starving&#8217; and scrambling for food again.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to take that bag of M&#038;M&#8217;s out of your desk drawer and replace it with healthier choices such as a yummy trail mix with nuts, seeds and dried fruits and berries that you can enjoy.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s all about keeping healthy food as top of mind. In fact, when you follow this advice, your health will always be top of mind. A simple glance a the fruit bowl will be a reminder that this is the &#8220;NEW YOU&#8221; who is taking care of their health because they know how much it will improve their business and life.</p>
<p>So your task for the day is to place a fruit bowl at your desk along with a container of walnuts or almonds, and a big glass or bottle of water.</p>
