Brown over at his blog this week. I’ve been following the series and today’s post really caught my attention. The topic is Make Sure Your Priorities Are In Whack. Here’s an excerpt from the post…

“Did you know that Jimmy exercises like every day?! Seriously. He makes it a priority. While the rest of us are slowly but surely developing “Computer Butt” – he’s in the best shape of his life.

Is it because he’s got more than 24 hours in a day? Nope. It’s because he’s got his priorities “in whack”.

I used to be a total gym rat. I loved exercising!

However, once I started my online business, I’ve made excuses why I couldn’t exercise regularly (for the last 4 years). I’ve had to become the primary breadwinner (and now the sole breadwinner) in our family so I told myself that I didn’t have the time to get into shape or take care of myself or … shower. (eew! I know.)

I should have just hung a sign on the door that said “Computer Butt Welcome Here”. Because it came whether I liked it or not.”

One of the secrets to many successful entrepreneurs is that they incorporate exercise into their workday. It improves their quality of work, energy, focus, time management, and helps them get more done in less time.

What you may not realize (or maybe you have but haven’t begun to put it into practice) is that making your health the #1 priority in your life will have a positive impact on your business and quality of time with your family.

Health is my #1 priority. I don’t ‘fit in’ my home office workouts. I schedule my day around my home office workouts because I know the impact that it will have on my business, fitness, and life.

Health should be your #1 priority for the reasons that I’ve listed below and many more.

1) What good is wealth if your quality of life sucks and you can’t enjoy the riches that you’ve earned?
2) A quick fitness break will improve your quality of work, time management, productivity, energy, and focus.
3) Bottom line: quick home office workouts help you get more done in less time
4) You’ll have more energy at the end of the day to play with your kids and do the things that you love
5) Fit and healthy entrepreneurs create more networking opportunities.
6) Think about why you started your home business. It wasn’t to spend hours in front of the computer, neglect your family, and live in a prison of your own making. Chance are, you started your home business to create freedom in your life and spend more time with your family.

I encourage you to read the entire post that Nicole did on Jimmy D. Brown’s blog. It’s a fantastic read and it may provide you with the motivation to make your health a priority right up there with wealth.

I also recommend that you check out Nicole Dean’s Success Cast. She recently interviewed me and I’ve got to tell you… it was an emotionally charged call that not only brought tears to our eyes, but made us laugh as well. I shared a lot about my life as well as some great home business strategies.

I recommend that you find role models like Jimmy D. Brown who have found the secret to creating a balanced and successful lifestyle. Isn’t that what you’re after?

Jimmy’s also got a wonderful report called, “Homepreneur Habits: How To Run A Successful Home Business“. This is a must read for every home business owner.

So, are your priorities in whack? Are you ready to make fitness a top priority in your life and business? Has the 30 Day Home Office Fitness Challenge been helping you to easily incorporate fast, fun fitness into your day?

I sincerely believe that balance is possible in life when you have your priorities straight. The purpose of Fat Loss Quickie is to transform your business, fitness, and life. This isn’t about some crash course diet, or time sucking fitness program. It’s a practical approach to your busy homepreneur lifestyle.

Today is the day that you begin moving towards the amazing life that you’ve been envisioning for years. You deserve it. Your dream life is waiting for you. Go for it!

You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,
