I loved your podcast(although a little long-winded off topic at times). Wanted to add, if you're sitting on the subway (i.e. you may call it the tube, or the metro, or the train), or just plain sitting for a lengthy duration, try doing some "butt squeezes", or "raise your feet 1 or 2 inches from the floor, suck in your navel imagining it touching your spine", and do that counting to ten, or just hold that position as long as you can. Everything will tighten up, in the abdominal area, which to me, is one of the hardest areas to maintain fitness. And when you're walking, consciously think to pull your stomach in, put your shoulders back, and breath normally, holding this excellent posture. These are small, and easy to do little exercises, and I have been doing them for years! They break up the monotony of a long bus ride for example, or sitting at your computer. You'll eventually start feeling stronger, and then you'll start noticing positive changes in your body and health. This is the domino effect to taking baby steps to better health and happiness. Once you start feeling stronger, you may want to start a light exercise routine three times a week, or start taking walks (having a dog will definitely get you out there). Animals also, have been statiscally proven to promote happiness. Exercise will also prevent osteoperosis, and you'll look great your whole life. Never over do it, as I truly believe less is more. This way too, you'll never become frustrated or quit because it will not hurt, and be fun!

I loved the podcast! I would love to hear about more of her habits or mindsets. I have been on a quest to learn more about how the 'naturally thin' live for some time now. I have been over weight my whole life. Dieted my whole life. Failed every time but once. I lost 55 lbs and kept it off until I had my kids then I changed my habits and am now overweight again.
But...for a week now I have been thinking like a thin person. I have not exercised much. I eat what I want when I'm hungry. I give myself small portions. I drink a lot of water. I really enjoy my food. Even if I'm starving I wait till I can have exactly what I want...and I eat it un-distracted one small bite at a time...and I feel so much more satisfied on less food. I look at what I'm eating and it is around 1000 or less calories a day. Before I would try so hard to eat 1200 calories and it was like pulling teeth to get my calories down. Now...I don't feel like I'm on a diet and I feel that I can do this for the rest of my life. So in 1 week I have lost....8 lbs! Yaay for me! Thanks again for the podcast!
